The Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) General Employees' Retirement System hired three firms to manage a total of $50 million in active domestic large-cap growth equities, confirmed David Desmond, administrator for the $300 million plan. INTECH and Navellier & Associates will run $20 million each, and Aletheia Research & Management will run $10 million, said Mr. Desmond. Funding came from reducing a $74 million large-cap growth equity portfolio managed by Davis Hamilton Jackson.
Consultant Dahab Associates assisted. An RFP was issued in February.
