The City of Franklin (Tenn.) Employees' Pension Plan is searching for an active domestic large-cap value equity manager to run $10 million to $15 million, according to the website of consultant Dahab Associates. A funding source has not been determined, said Barry Bryant, the Dahab consultant who assists the $26 million pension fund. Fund officials may replace current large-cap value manager Flippen Bruce & Porter, which runs between $4 million and $6 million, or they may retain the firm and hire a second manager, said Russ Truell, the city's finance director. Mr. Truell said the search is related to a recent asset allocation study. The RFP is available at http://dahab.com/searches.html. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EDT June 30, and final presentations are scheduled for July 18.
