

Kristin Weisker was named head of relationship management at Polaris Capital Management, said spokeswoman Kelly Fitzsimmons. It is a new position. Ms. Weisker is coming on at a time of "tremendous growth in assets" for the firm, which was managing $1.8 billion in client money as of April 30, up from $1.2 billion at the end of 2005 and $485 million at the end of 2004, according to a news release. Ms. Weisker was a relationship manager at Fidelity Management Trust; Fidelity spokeswoman Erika Soto said there was no information on plans to fill the position.
Peter Zegger was appointed head of corporate pensions at Unilever PLC, London. He will be responsible for the company's €18.5 billion ($23.635 billion) in pension assets, replacing Philip Lambert, who retired in April. Mr. Zegger was Unilever's corporate centre controller, according to a statement from the firm. A Unilever spokeswoman wasn't able to say who replaced him.
Clara B. Woody, executive director of the Richmond (Va.) Retirement System, will retire this fall after 22 years with the $500 million pension plan. Fund officials will begin advertising for Ms. Woody's replacement on June 4; they hope to interview candidates in mid-July and have a new executive director in place by Oct. 1, said Chairman Ron Tillett. Mr. Tillett replaced Gregory Schnitzler, whose term as chairman expired this month.
