Cambridge (Mass.) Retirement System issued RFPs for an active international fixed-income manager and an active emerging markets equity manager to run $19 million each, confirmed Kevin Leonard, the Segal Advisors consultant assisting the $644 million pension plan. Both asset classes were added for diversification. Funding will come from a general redistribution of assets.
Anne Leduc, the plan's executive director, referred questions to Segal.
