City of New York Deferred Compensation Plan issued an RFP for an index manager to run $130 million of its $299.7 million international equity option, said Denise Peart, deputy assistant counsel. The fund, comprising a 457 plan and 401(k) plan, has a total of $6.8 billion in assets. Ms. Peart said plan officials want to add an index manager to the current group of international equity managers - AllianceBernstein, Mondrian and New Star. The fund offers 16 investment options. The RFP can be found online at www.nyc.gov. Proposals are due May 22, and a selection is expected by July 7.
