Wyoming Retirement System, Cheyenne, issued an RFP for a cash manager to run $150 million to $180 million, confirmed Harry Wales, deputy director of the $5.6 billion pension plan. Funding will come from a general redistribution of assets to help meet cash-flow needs. The RFP is available by e-mailing Mr. Wales at [email protected] Proposals are due at 2 p.m. MDT May 26. Finalists will be notified by June 9, although there is no official timeline for making a selection, according to the RFP. Buck Consultants is assisting.
