Marc van den Berg was named COO of investments at the e71.5 billion ($86.6 billion) Stichting Pensioenfonds PGGM, Zeist, Netherlands, effective May 1, according to a news release. He was a senior development manager; PGGM spokeswoman Ellen Habermehl could not be reached at press time to comment on whether that position has been filled. Mr. van den Berg replaces Johan van der Ende, who will be director of structured investments. That position was vacated when Jan van der Vlist left PGGM in 2005 to join Dutch merchant bank NIB Capital, The Hague.
