TA Associates agreed to acquire securities lending manager eSecLending for an undisclosed sum from majority owner Old Mutual, pending regulatory approval, confirmed Brooke Gillman, eSecLending spokeswoman. She said a closing date is not set. Under the deal, eSecLending's current management team has entered long-term employment contracts with TA Associates and will retain a minority equity position in the firm.
