Steven W. Golann was appointed partner at money manager Dalton Strategic Partnership; he will be in charge of opening the firm's New York office this month. Currently, 15% of the firm's $3.3 billion in assets is managed for U.S. clients, said spokeswoman Sophie Hull. Over the next nine months, the firm intends to launch Japanese and European equity funds to broaden its U.S. presence, according to a statement from the firm. Mr. Golann was managing director of Focus Investment Group, where he marketed equity hedge funds of funds, Ms. Hull said. Further information wasn't immediately available.
