San Bernardino County Employees' Retirement Association on March 13 is expected to select a manager to run about $150 million in active international small-cap equities. It is a new allocation. AIG Global Investment Group, GlobeFlex and AXA Rosenberg are finalists, said Don Pierce, investment officer of the $5.1 billion fund.
Also on March 13, the board may select Russell Investment Group, which is the sole finalist in the fund's search for a manager for its new beta overlay program. The board will also decide whether to invest 40 million ($48 million) in European Private Equity Partners 2006 fund. It committed 20 million in the firm's last fund, the European Private Equity Partners 2004 fund.
Separately, the board committed $40 million to TCW/Crescent Mezzanine fund and $25 million to Lexington Capital Partners VI.
