Worcester (Mass.) Regional Contributory Retirement System is searching for a manager to run $16 million in active domestic small-cap value equities, confirmed Kevin Leonard, a consultant with Segal Advisors. The board of the $355 million pension plan is conducting the search because of performance concerns with the current manager, which he declined to name. The board will consider commingled funds, mutual funds and separate accounts. Michael J. Donoghue, chairman and CEO, did not return a call by press time seeking details.
The RFP is available by e-mailing Rosemary Guillette at Segal Advisors at [email protected] Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EST Feb. 28, and there is no timeline for selections, Mr. Leonard said.
