

Salvatore M. Capizzi was hired as president of Illington Funds, the mutual fund family owned by Illington Fund Management, according to a news release. He was executive vice president of retail investments at New York Life Investment Management. Further information was unavailable at press time.
Ronald J. Bucci joined New York Life Investment Management as regional director of Taft-Hartley retirement plan and investment sales, said Sarah Lazarus, spokeswoman. It is a new position. Mr. Bucci will oversee sales for NYLIM Retirement Plan Services and McMorgan, a subsidiary of NYLIM. He was a senior vice president and director of Taft-Hartley sales at Wachovia Retirement Services. Mark Folk, spokesman for Wachovia, did not return calls requesting information about a replacement.
Julia Coronado was named associate director and senior economist at Barclays Capital, according to a news release. It is a new position. Ms. Coronado will be the investment bank's expert on pension research and will contribute to economics research. She will report to Dean Maki, director and chief U.S. economist. Ms. Coronado was a senior research associate at Watson Wyatt Worldwide. Her replacement has not been named, said Emily Rieger, a spokeswoman.
