Wichita (Kan.) Retirement Systems' joint investment committee recommended that the $900 million system - which includes the city's employee and police and fire pension plans - rehire incumbent Callan Associates as a consultant, confirmed Carla Palmer, city treasurer. The system issued an RFP in May.
Approval may be given at the Wichita Employees' Retirement Plan's Jan. 18 board meeting and at the Police and Fire plan's Jan. 25 board meeting, said Barbara Davis, the joint system's pension manager.
