Jeffrey MacLean was named CEO of Wurts & Associates, replacing William Wurts, the firm's founder, said Angela Swensen, spokeswoman. Mr. Wurts will remain chairman of the board. Mr. MacLean, who has been with Wurts for 13 years, was president and COO; he will remain president while the firm eliminates the COO position, Ms. Swensen said.
In addition, senior consultant Scott Whalen was named executive vice president in charge of consulting services, a new position. He will retain his previous title. John Wasnock, who has been in the manager research group for six years as an associate, was named director of manager research, replacing Shelly Heier. Ms. Heier, along with Brent Nelson, an analyst in the firm's manager research group, have been named consultants, Ms. Swensen said.
