Maryland Teachers & State Employees Supplemental Retirement Plans, Baltimore, is searching for a manager of managers for its $536.8 million stable value investment pool and also plans to conduct a search for an investment consultant for the $2.1 billion system, confirmed Michael Halpin, executive director.
Contracts of ING Financial Advisors, the current stable value manager of managers, and incumbent consultant Segal Advisors expire this spring, Mr. Halpin said. The two firms can rebid. A selection of a manager of managers is expected in March. The timetable for issuing the investment consultant RFP has not been determined.
