Holyoke (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System named GW Capital, DuPont Capital Management, ING Investment Management, Smith Group Asset Management and Fidelity Investments as finalists in its search for a manager to run $10.8 million in active domestic small-cap core equities, said Daniel R. Owens, executive director of the $160 million plan. The five firms will make presentations at the board's Dec. 13 meeting, and the board will probably make a selection that day, Mr. Owens said. Funding came from the portfolio's previous manager, Dreyfus Trust, which was terminated earlier this year for organizational reasons, he said. The money is parked in a Russell 2000 index fund managed by State Street Global Advisors.
