Kansas Public Employees Retirement System, Topeka, hired executive search firm EFL Associates to assist with the $11.5 billion pension fund's national search for a CIO, confirmed Yolanda Dickinson, human resources manager. Scott Peppard has been acting CIO since Rob Woodard left earlier this month to accept a position with asset manager West Gate Horizons. System officials do not have a timetable for selecting a new CIO, Ms. Dickinson said. She confirmed that Mr. Peppard will be considered as a candidate. The pension fund issued an RFP for an executive search firm several weeks ago.
