Leila Heckman joined Bear Stearns Asset Management following the completion of BSAM's acquisition of Heckman Global Advisors, according to a news release. Ms. Heckman, senior managing director and founder of the equity investment research firm, will continue to conduct global investment research for BSAM; she is now charged with developing new investment products for BSAM as well. Also joining BSAM from Heckman Global Advisors are Nari Narayanan and John J. Mullin, managing directors; Joon-Ho Lee, vice president; and Zoya Raynes, client service manager. Michelle O'Brien, BSAM spokeswoman, could not be reached for comment on further details.
Joseph Goldberg was appointed senior associate with Outlook Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm. Mr. Goldberg was senior product marketing manager for VMware, a subsidiary of information storage and management firm EMC Corp.
