Ohio Public Employees' Retirement System, Columbus, is considering developing a focus list of companies to target for corporate governance action, said Lori F. Hacking, executive director of the $64.5 billion system. "We've never done that before," she said, adding that staff is still developing the idea to possibly bring to the board for its consideration. "We are trying to upgrade our corporate governance program and presence."
