City of Miami Firefighters' and Police Officers' Retirement Trust is conducting a shortlist search for two to four private equity fund-of-funds managers to manage a combined $52 million, according to Robert Nagle, administrator of the $1.3 billion system. The investment will be the plan's first allocation to private equity. Funding will come from rebalancing. Milliman USA, the system's investment consultant, has compiled a shortlist of managers and is expected to select finalists by the system's Nov. 18 investment meeting.
