Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency Retirement System, Boston, is looking to move into a diversified private equity fund of funds "to get into other areas of private equity, and to expand our allocation," said John Doherty, executive secretary. The $54 million fund is searching for a manager to run $3 million in a fund of funds; the system already invests $2 million in venture capital. Funding will come from rebalancing the system's equity investments, he said. Fund officials plan to make a selection by December. Meketa Investment Group is assisting.
