Holyoke (Mass.) Retirement System is moving into emerging markets equities for the first time in an effort to diversify the $153 million system's asset allocation, and is searching for a manager to run about $2 million in the asset class. Funding will come from rebalancing; no managers will be terminated. The system hopes to pick a manager by the end of the year, said Cheryl Dugre, assistant executive director. Segal Advisors is assisting.
