The Walt Disney Co., Burbank, Calif., contributed $34 million to its pension plan in its fiscal third quarter, ended July 2, and plans to contribute another $90 million to its pension and post-retirement medical plans during its fiscal fourth quarter, according to an SEC filing today. Separately, Electronic Data Systems Corp., Plano, Texas, contributed $52 million to its pension plans in the six months ended June 30, according to a 10-Q filing yesterday. The company disclosed in a May filing that it would contribute between $150 million and $250 million to its pension plans overall this year. EDS has $3.07 billion in pension assets, according to the Money Market Directory.
