Oklahoma Police Pension and Retirement System, Oklahoma City, named Martingale Asset Management, Roxbury Capital Management and TimesSquare Capital Management as finalists in its search for a manager to run $46 million in active domestic small-cap growth equities, said Steve Snyder, assistant director. The firm will replace CapitalWorks Investment Partners, which has been on watch for performance for roughly a year, he said. Officials of the $1.4 billion pension plan also want a small-cap growth portfolio that can add some midcap components, which CapitalWorks could not accommodate, he added.
Alex Camet, client services and marketing representative for CapitalWorks, did not return a call seeking comment by press time.
The finalists will make presentations at the board's Aug. 17 meeting, and a decision could be made that day. The pension fund issued an RFP in the second quarter. Asset Consulting Group is assisting.
