Southfield (Mich.) General Employees' Retirement System in August will likely select an active international equity manager to run about $9 million, said Larry Gray, president of plan consultant Gray & Co. Officials of the $87 million pension plan will interview finalists LSV Asset Management, Johnson Asset Management, Manning & Napier and Boston Co. Asset Management at an Aug. 22 meeting. Funding will come from a general rebalancing of assets and no manager will be terminated, Mr. Gray said. The fund issued an RFP earlier this year.
Lauri Siskind, senior human resources specialist for the city, referred questions to Mr. Gray.
