CPP Investment Board, Toronto, split its C$1.8 billion (US$1.46 billion) real estate and C$3.1 billion private equity and infrastructure units and hired two executives to oversee the portfolios, said John Cappelletti, spokesman for the C$81.3 billion fund. Graeme Eadie will be vice president, real estate, and Mark Wiseman, vice president, private investments, will head the private equity and infrastructure unit. Mr. Eadie was an independent consultant for the CPP's private markets group. Mr. Wiseman was vice president in charge of the private equity portfolio for the C$84.3 billion Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, Toronto. Lee Fullerton, OTPP spokesman, could not be reached by press time to comment on a replacement.
