Corbin Capital Partners is the new name for hedge fund-of-funds manager Dubin & Swieca. The firm, founded in 1984 by Glenn Dubin and Henry Swieca, manages about $1.2 billion. The name change was made to reflect a move by Messrs. Dubin and Swieca away from day-to-day management of the hedge fund-of-funds company to concentrate on their hedge fund firm, Highbridge Capital Management, according to a statement. Mr. Dubin remains CIO of Corbin. The Corbin name comes from an intersection in the Washington Heights section of New York City, where the firm's founders first met at age 5.
