It is a new position, created to "focus on building out our investment and risk management capabilities for high-net-worth clients," he said. Mr. Albahary was CIO at Merrill Lynch Retirement Services. Calls to Merrill Lynch were not returned by press time.
Peter M. Gorman was named a managing director with Robeco Investment Management's intermediary channels sales team, responsible for selling the products of Robeco's money management units through broker-dealers, bank and trust companies, family offices and other subadvisory channels, the company said in a news release. The position is new. Mr. Gorman was managing director, marketing and investor relations, with Blue Alternative Asset Management. Gina M. Giaquinto, Blue Alternative's vice president, fund administration, said the company doesn't comment on personnel changes.
Greg Jenner was named executive vice president of taxes and retirement at the American Council of Life Insurers, Washington. It is a new position. Mr. Jenner was assistant treasury secretary of tax policy until Dec. 31. He has not yet been replaced, according to Taylor Griffin, a Treasury Department spokesman.
