Ian Chimes, managing director of European distribution with Credit Suisse Asset Management, will also assume responsibility for U.S. sales and marketing, said Wesley McDade, spokesman. Gail S. Landis, managing director, U.S. sales and marketing, is leaving the firm, Mr. McDade said. Ms. Landis referred all inquiries to Mr. McDade, who couldn't provide any specifics about her next move. Also, Mark Burgess, who joined CSAM in July as managing director, global co-head of equities, was named global head of equities, with the departure of fellow co-head Greg Sawers, who also led CSAM's U.S. equities operations. Mr. Sawers' departure had been planned for some time, said Mr. McDade; he is leaving to "take some time off," Mr. McDade said. Steve Kaszynski, managing director, head of U.S. value equities, will also assume Mr. Sawers' responsibilities as head of U.S. equities, while Bob Rescoe, a director and portfolio manager, will also become head of U.S. equity research, Mr. McDade said.
Jana Benesova-Tuma was named managing director and product head of European fixed income, a new position at Citigroup Asset Management in London, said Olivia Baker, spokeswoman. Ms. Benesova-Tuma was a director and portfolio manager with Credit Suisse Asset Management, involved with European high-yield and total-return investment management and emerging market fixed-Income strategy, according to a news release from Citigroup. Wesley McDade, CSAM spokesman, confirmed Ms. Benesova-Tuma's departure and said it's not clear if she will be replaced because CSAM uses a team approach to manage those products.
