Keating gets new role at American Express

As expected, Christopher Keating joined Amercan Express Financial as head of institutional and hedge fund sales, client service and consultant relations, said spokesman Paul W. Johnson. In a news release, Amex said Mr. Keating will be "responsible for growing the firm's institutional separate account and alternatives business." Mr. Keating was executive vice president for sales, client service and consultant relations at Fidelity Management Trust. Fidelity spokesman Scott Beyerl said his company has no information about a replacement at this time.
