Whayne Supply Co., Louisville, Ky., put the Armada Small Cap Value and American Century Income & Growth funds, two investment options in its $120 million 401(k) plan, on watch, said Danny Thomas, vice president of human resources and risk management. The Armada fund is on watch for organizational changes, and the American Century fund is on watch for performance, he said. Chris Doyle, American Century spokesman, said the fund has consistently outperformed its S&P 500 benchmark.
Plan officials will discuss the two funds at their second-quarter meeting, which has not yet been scheduled. Mr. Thomas said changes are possible, but not imminent.
Hewitt Associates is record keeper, and National City Bank is trustee and provides investment advice. The plan offers 19 investment options.
