Mississippi Public Employees' Retirement System, Jackson, is concluding a search for a firm to perform master trust custodial and securities lending services for the $17.5 billion system's securities lending program, said Lorrie Tingle, CIO. Incumbent State Street is allowed to participate. System officials are conducting the search as part of their policy to periodically take a fresh look at the market. Notifications of interest were submitted in March and the search is closed to new entrants, Ms. Tingle said. Plan officials expect to choose finalists by June 2 and make a selection by June 21, according to the RFP.
