Telia Pensionsstiftelse, Stockholm, switched $140 million run by State Street Global Advisors to a new socially responsible global equity index fund from a pooled global index fund, said Peter Antonsson, president of the 1.5 billion euro ($1.94 billion) pension plan. The new fund was launched in March, and the pension plan puts social investment screens on all its portfolios, Mr. Antonsson said.
Separately, the plan invested 100 million Swedish krona ($14.1 million) in Graal, a Swedish long-short equity fund managed by Aktie-Ansvar, a local mutual fund company. Funding came from reductions to existing fixed-income portfolios, added Mr. Antonsson.
