Christopher Campisano joined Barclays Global Investors as director of the firm's structured solutions group in San Francisco, said Tom Taggart, spokesman. The position is new. Mr. Campisano reports to Jeff Hord, managing director and head of structured solutions.
Mr. Campisano had been director of equities for Delta Air Lines, Atlanta, and the carrier's $11.5 billion in retirement plan assets. James Taylor, Delta CIO-benefit trusts, did not return a call seeking comment by press time. A voice mail message on Mr. Campisano's phone line at Delta said Mr. Taylor took over responsibility for all public equity and hedge fund portfolios. Anthony Black, Delta spokesman, said airline officials have not yet named Mr. Campisano's successor but hope to do so soon.
