Equity portfolio managers Jeffrey Van Harte, Christopher Bonavico, Kenneth Broad and Daniel Prislin are leaving Transamerica Investment Management, said TIM spokeswoman Elizabeth Grice. Mr. Van Harte handled large-cap growth; Messrs. Broad and Bonavico managed small-cap to midcap growth; and Mr. Prislin ran core, acording to Transamerica's website. The Transamerica equity team is joining Delaware Investments, a source said. An executive at Delaware declined to comment. Also, Kirk Kim and Ed Han were named co-managers of Transamerica Investment Management's Premier Growth Opportunities Fund and Premier Focus Fund, effective April 1, Ms. Grice said. The funds are part of the firm's small-cap to midcap growth and multicap strategies. The two have been portfolio managers at other Transamerica funds. Gary Rolle, president and CIO, will also be added to the multicap management team as a co-manager of the Focus fund. He remains the lead manager of the Transamerica Premier Balanced Fund and a portfolio manager on the Transamerica Premier Core Equity and Transamerica Premier Equity funds.
