Illinois State Board of Investment, Chicago, selected Heitman, Lincoln Advisory Group and Commonwealth Realty Advisors as finalists in a search for a manager to run $60 million in real estate, said William Atwood, executive director. The board of the $10.7 billion fund is seeking a separate-account manager to invest in property in Illinois. The move is part of an asset allocation strategy the board adopted last year. The finalists are scheduled to make presentations to the investment committee Wednesday, and the board is expected to make a decision Friday. Townsend Group is assisting.
