Swampscott (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System issued an RFP for an active domestic large-cap value equities manager to run $5.7 million. The portfolio is now managed by Fox Asset Management, said Richard DiPesa, retirement administrator for the $29 million system. RFPs are available from Rosemary Guillette at inSegal Advisorsltant Segal Advisors at [email protected]; proposals are due Feb. 17.
Separately, the system hired US Bancorp to run $1 million in a private equity fund of funds. Funding will come from the system's fixed-income portfolio, Mr. DiPesa said; no managers will be terminated.
