Continental Airlines Inc., Houston, estimated it will make a $300 million minimum required contribution to its $2 billion pension plan this year, according to an SEC filing. The airline earlier this month added 6 million shares of ExpressJet Holdings Inc., which operates as Continental Express, regional jet provider for Continental, to its pension plan as part of the contribution. The shares have a total value of $65 million. Continental also said it expects $315 million in non-cash pension expenses this year.
