Jeffrey P. Lagarce was named president and chief marketing officer at OFI Institutional Asset Management, a subsidiary of OppenheimerFunds, said Bruce Dunbar, spokesman. Mr. Lagarce replaced Chuck McKenzie as president; Mr. McKenzie remains chairman and CEO. The chief marketing officer position is new. Mr. Lagarce's hiring allowed Mr. McKenzie to "take on broader responsibilities," said Mr. Dunbar. Mr. Lagarce had been executive vice president at Fidelity Investments Tax-Exempt Services Co., said Jenny Engle, Fidelity spokeswoman. The firm has not filled his position; she could not provide further details on the vacant post. OFI Institutional has $7 billion in assets under management for pension funds, endowments and foundations.

Stephen M. Wynne was named president of PFPC Worldwide, said Rob Tacey, spokesman. Mr. Wynne takes on duties previously handled by Timothy G. Shack, PFPC's chairman and CEO, who will retain those titles. Mr. Wynne was PFPC's executive vice president and COO. Mr. Tacey had no information on a replacement.

John Snyder was named head of client service and marketing at global macro hedge fund manager Third Wave Global Investors, a new position. He joins Laurence R. Smith, chairman and CIO, and Robert Birnbaum, president and COO. All three were formerly colleagues at JPMorgan Investment Management. Mr. Snyder was a managing director and head of investor relations at hedge fund manager Paloma Partners. David Kupperman replaced Mr. Snyder, adding head of business development to his title and responsibilities, said Hal Lux, a Paloma spokesman.

Edward J. Tiscornia was named director of industry relations of the Investment Management Consultants Association. It is a new position. He was publisher of Thomson Media's On Wall Street and Bank Investment Consultant magazines.
