California Savings Plus, Sacramento, is searching for mutual fund managers to run the following investment options: active domestic large-cap value and core equity; active domestic midcap core equity; active domestic small-cap value equity; and a socially responsible fund, said Carrie Pierce, defined contribution plan program specialist. Contracts of managers who now run those funds for the $5.2 billion plan are due to expire in late 2005.
Currently, the Federated Stock Trust and American Century Income & Growth funds are used for the active domestic large-cap value equity option; the Accessor Small to Mid-Cap fund is used for domestic midcap core equity; the Franklin Balance Sheet Investment fund is used for domestic small cap value equity; and the Domini Social Equity fund is used for the socially responsible option. All managers can rebid.
The plan has 34 investment options.
