ChevronTexaco Corp., San Ramon, Calif., hired State Street Corp. to provide global custody, securities lending, performance measurement and investment accounting for $2 billion in pension assets from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Ireland and Belgium, confirmed Carolyn Cichon, State Street spokeswoman. State Street, which already services $7 billion in assets for ChevronTexaco's $10.3 billion U.S. pension plan, replaced JPMorgan Chase. Further information was not available.
