Washington State Investment Board, Olympia, hired Glass Lewis to help the $57 billion fund move toward voting its U.S. equity proxies in-house, said Liz Mendizabal, spokeswoman. The firm and the board staff will develop proxy-voting guidelines, which will be presented to the board's audit committee Dec. 6.
