Worcester (Mass.) Regional Contributory Retirement System is searching for a manager to run about $14 million in active domestic small-cap growth equities, said Kevin Leonard, the Segal Advisors consultant who is assisting the $310 million pension fund. The RFP is available by e-mail at [email protected] Proposals are due Dec. 13, and the board is expected to make a selection early in the first quarter. The retirement board issued an RFP because of organizational changes the existing manager has recently undergone; Mr. Leonard declined to identify the firm.
Michael Donoghue, chairman and CEO of the fund, did not return a call by press time seeking comment.
