UBS Global Asset Management's assets under management rose 1% to 601 billion ($500 billion) Swiss francs for the third quarter, compared with 595 billion Swiss francs for the second quarter. The firm had 572 billion Swiss francs in the third quarter last year.
The firm reported institutional inflows of 20.7 billion Swiss francs for the year ended Sept. 30, compared with 11.3 billion Swiss francs for the previous year. Spokesman Charles Gorman said the firm won new equity mandates from European clients and had strong inflows into its alternative and quantitative investments.
