The Center for Investment Management Investigations will send letters to 10,000 trustees, executive directors, CIOs and other top officials from pension plans with more than $100 million in assets, offering to do a preliminary review of their consultant relationships for potential conflicts, said Edward A.H. Siedle, president. The preliminary review is free, he added.
CIMI plans to send the letters next week to officials at both public and corporate plans, he said. It bought the mailing list it will use from the Money Market Directory, he added. CIMI is a unit of Benchmark Financial, which Mr. Siedle owns.
