David A. Antonelli was named chief equity officer of MFS Investment Management, a new position, said John Reilly, spokesman. He will oversee research, portfolio management, quantitative analysis and trading in the equity department. Mr. Antonelli, who has been MFS' director of global equity research since 2002, will retain those duties and remain portfolio manager for the firm's International New Discovery Fund. Separately, David M. Calabro, senior vice president and lead manager of the MFS Total Return Fund, will retire on Feb. 28; team member Brooks A. Taylor will succeed him.
Jeff Norris was named COO of Dwight Asset Management. He succeeds Laura Dagan, who was named president and CEO in January; she had kept her COO duties in the interim. Mr. Norris was a senior vice president with responsibilities in client service and product development. There are no plans to fill his previous position, according to a spokesman.
Lisa Morris was named deputy executive director of the $8.3 billion Ohio School Employees' Retirement System, Columbus, said Laurel Johnson, spokeswoman. She replaces John LeHockey, who became vice president of Convergys Corp., Cincinnati. Ms. Morris was chief of the Division of Surface Water for the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
