O.C. Tanner Co., Salt Lake City, added the Oberweis Emerging Growth fund as an investment option in its $140 million 401(k) plan, replacing the Franklin Small Cap Growth fund, said Jeff Bedke, director of financial accounting and chairman of Tanner's retirement committee. Mr. Bedke said the committee members believed the Franklin fund was drifting more toward the small-cap to midcap range, and members wanted an option that focused more on smaller companies. The plan offers nine investment options and is administered internally. Prudential is record keeper; Bidart & Ross assisted.
