Marc Roston was named senior portfolio manager at hedge fund of funds Silver Creek, a new position. He will manage the Silver Creek Long Short Partners fund of funds and work with Eric Dillon, CIO, on investment strategies. Mr. Roston was an investment manager at the $1.9 billion defined contribution plan of McKinsey & Co. Inc., New York. Mitch Kent, a McKinsey spokesman, did not return a call seeking information about Mr. Roston's replacement.
Fiserv formed a succession committee to search for a replacement for Leslie M. Muma, president and CEO, who plans to retire in June 2006, confirmed Chuck Doherty, spokesman. Internal candidates would be considered first, Mr. Doherty said. Norm Balthasar, Fiserv senior executive vice president and COO, asked not to be considered because he plans to retire in 2008. Mr. Muma has been CEO since 1999 and president since the company was founded in 1984.
