

Gary Haubold was named manager of the Gartmore Nationwide Leaders Fund and co-manager of the Gartmore Nationwide Fund, with William Miller, said Edward Dunn, spokesman. Mr. Haubold replaced Simon Melluish in both positions; Mr. Melluish wants to return to the United Kingdom, Mr. Dunn said.
Christopher Welker was named an investment consultant at Capital Cities LLC responsible for investment manager analysis and selection. He will also assist with client service and serve on the consulting firm's investment committee. Mr. Welker replaces Abigail Igarta, an investment analyst and operations coordinator, who left the firm. Tiffany Spudich, marketing and client service coordinator, will also assume some of Ms. Igarta's duties. Mr. Welker was a vice president of investment-grade trading at Delaware Investments. Delaware officials couldn't be reached for comment about a replacement.
George Gao was named quantitative analyst at Chicago Equity Partners, a new position. He will join the quantitative research team, focusing on programming and financial mathematics to support the firm's investment model. Mr. Gao was an application services manager at Capgemini.
