Winston-Salem (N.C.) Police Officers Retirement Plan is keeping domestic intermediate bond manager INVESCO on watch for underperformance of its $15 million portfolio. The $110 million plan has been monitoring INVESCO for more than two years, said Larry Matthews, city treasurer. Bill Hensel, spokesman for INVESCO parent AMVESCAP, decline to comment.
Plan officials are also interviewing five managers in an invitation-only search for an international equity manager to run up to $10 million. Mr. Matthews would not identify the firms. The system's board has not determined a funding source. DB Alex. Brown is assisting.
